Mr. Lim Yew Meng was appointed to the Board on 18 November 2004. He is a member of the Remuneration Committee. He graduated from the University of Adelaide, Australia, with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics, a Diploma in Education and a Masters in Business Administration. He was a Colombo Plan Scholar as well as a University Research Grant holder while pursuing his degrees in the University of Adelaide. He has served the Malaysian Institute of Management for many years as a General Council Member. He was appointed as an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Bankers, Malaysia for his many years of service as a Chief Examiner for Diploma in Banking Programme offered by the Institute of Bankers, Malaysia.

He has over 30 years of managerial experience serving in various senior positions. Among the positions he held are Vice Principal of the Bank Negara Malaysia Staff Training Centre, Group Corporate Planner in the East Asiatic Company (Malaysia) Berhad, Group Corporate Affairs Manager in Sime Darby Berhad, Finance Director in Dayapi Industries Malaysia Berhad (now known as Golden Plus Berhad) and Group Research Manager in the Lion Group of companies.
